I have an old high school friend who lives n Iowa and she goes to Estes every year and often their Christmas phhoto show's them at Estes but that is the extent of the view I have ever gotten to see. Your pictures are breath taking. I feel the same way when I visit the White Mountains in NH!!Linda - Behind My Red Doorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440663909785788611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-72782236813269992122009-09-24T16:43:28.212-05:002009-09-24T16:43:28.212-05:00Absolutely gorgeous! Yesterday someone told me that it snowed in Steamboat Springs, big wet flakes. The ski resorts are probably gearing up for a good season. Like someone else said in a comment they left you, I am so envious. No,I am actually jealous -- but with a big smile. -Megan-Meggie Marchstives@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18213949615777180821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-81664624306795491002009-09-24T13:09:15.473-05:002009-09-24T13:09:15.473-05:00I'm glad that where I live the first snow is u...I'm glad that where I live the first snow is usually in November. I loved when I taught second grade and those first flakes started falling during school. Then we had wonder + joy x 25, and we couldn't possibly continue with business as usual. Now I'm not sure who loves those first flakes more, me or my kids. Hope you get your snow, AND get safely out of the mountains. We sold ours when we bought the KY house. I miss those times so much, traveling with our little trailer behind us were some of my happiest times. Oh, and I too love that first snow thing. I will try to see these things in my mind's eye.
