I know what you...And how did you like the haircut?

I know what you mean. I call it noise. I've hung up the phone before when I've been put on hold because I didn't want to listen to noise while I waited. I love the silence of my house when I'm home and it just seems everywhere we go, we're bombarded with noise.
Mama BearLove Bears All Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04091529156071883508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-3597375906181678422009-10-09T09:42:28.474-05:002009-10-09T09:42:28.474-05:00Hi Marlene, I'm WAY behind in the blogging wor...Hi Marlene, I'm WAY behind in the blogging world... been reading to keep up, but little time to post.

I have noticed, esp in the stores like Hollister, Abercrombie, Forever 21 the music is SO loud... and sometimes they spray their perfume and it is so strong. Nothing like an instant headache!

I hope everything is going well for little Eli. But, what a blessing that the doctors found it right away and they are able to take care of it!

And your trip photos were beautiful.Jacquiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07306641980039598264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-84790701074660168412009-10-06T22:58:12.433-05:002009-10-06T22:58:12.433-05:00I totally agree with you. I go to Sonic a lot because they have that happy hour where you can get drinks half price and I can't stand that music playing while I am trying to order either. I am with you on this one. I went into a store the other day ....the music was so darn loud that I walked right back out again. Honestly, I can not think about what I might want to purchase with such loud music going on. I hope some are reading this blog and it hits home.

Friends,
SusannahSusannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08760379367756142891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-36300469103406659732009-10-06T07:49:23.218-05:002009-10-06T07:49:23.218-05:00I know exactly what you mean and I hadn't real...I know exactly what you mean and I hadn't really thought about it until I read this post. Yes, things are too loud these days and I am not a fan of the constant, unrelenting attack on my eardrums. I have followed my beautician from shop to shop all around town and the one she's in now is wonderful, as you describe it's quiet and she is the only beautician in an isolated area of the spa where they place soft, meditative music. It is so peaceful and tranquil I never want to leave! What a welcome respite in an otherwise raucous society!

Quiet down already!Mrs. Goodneedlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07453388163219666450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-4459140379537730922009-10-06T07:41:29.172-05:002009-10-06T07:41:29.172-05:00Yes it is too loud. I have said "I am sorry I can't hear you because the music is too loud" several times. I'll even tell the manager if it is a small place. They can't fix it if they don't know it is a problem.Linda - Behind My Red Doorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440663909785788611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-79569431610484795602009-10-06T05:03:38.455-05:002009-10-06T05:03:38.455-05:00Well, I can't tell you the last time I went to...Well, I can't tell you the last time I went to the mall, as you know I shop Goodwill mostly, but what I HATE is when we go to Goodwill, and you can't walk down the aisles, because of 20 kids LAYING in the aisles playing with the toys ALL OVER THE STORE,(and leaving them where they are when they leave) or worse yet, when they are screaming and crying IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE (especially the first weekend OF THE MONTH)!!! I just want to SCREAM....IF YOU CAN'T TALK AND CRY AND SCREAM IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM, but better yet, KEEP YOUR SCREAMING, CRYING KIDS AT HOME, AND QUIT PLAYING WITH EVERYTHING (including NON toys)IN ALL THE AISLES!!! (Wow, I feel better now!)

I know what you mean. Boy, I bet you didn't expect THAT!!!

Have a wonderful day, and sorry I blew up! Hope you find quiet where you need it. I sure do understand.

Be blessed,
Crazy MichelleMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11994575359990994574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568318030915787600.post-77172920076763633702009-10-05T22:19:05.604-05:002009-10-05T22:19:05.604-05:00I'm with you.
