It's like a hundred seventy two degrees outside today. Maybe I exaggerate. But can you say....HOT! We had a pep rally today. On. The. Football. Field. When I said I'd go back to work I forgot about Pep Rallys.
I am getting weary of heat. It was hot here today too. Not 172. Maybe 150. ( I exzagerate too). You would be proud of me. I have almost enough squares for a quilt. Then the hard part stops. Must visit my friend to get help beyond this point. It will not have one machine stitch. All by hand.
Rah, rah, sis boom bah!!! I much prefer football (and pep rallys) during the cooler autumn temps!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness , you poor thing standing under hot sun for an hr ???Gees Time for a sunbrella ..
ReplyDeleteI remember Pep rallys. I was always in band, so I had to go.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are (otherwise) enjoying being back at school.

ReplyDeleteWow! It's hot like that here, too, but I'm not out standing on the football field. Poor thing!

ReplyDeleteEven with the heat, I'm sure it was a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteGo TEAM! I'll bet the kids you work with were happy to have you there. Of course, I'm saying that after a day kayaking and walking on the beach.
ReplyDeleteOh yes....pep rallys....I remember those.
ReplyDeleteFun! But not at that temperature! So glad it's YOU who's cheering.
