Today is my birthday - yippee for me! And tomorrow is one of my daughter's birthday! So in honor of these two momentous days in my life I'm giving away this book.
American Patchwork is a collection of true stories told by quilters and on page 15 is one written by....me! The title is "Use It Up" and it's about my mother. I wrote it the year after she died and last year it was published in this book.
But here's the thing. You have to be quick. Comment here before midnight tomorrow, October 2 to be entered. Hurry!
Happy Birthday to You!

Happy Birthday to You and the daughter.
ReplyDeleteOne has to be quick to enter into Giveaways. The Scot would love you, he is all in favour of Use It Up think he caught that from his Mother during the War years in Scotland.
Just found you this evening, for the first time. I love Patchwork! Also, learned the concept of "use it up" from my mother who was born in 1920 and who remembered the "Great Depression" in detail. Funny. My folks didn't just call it the "Depression" but always the "Great Depression". I would enjoy this book as I have enjoyed your website. Thanks,
ReplyDeleteI just got home a couple of hours ago, no time to update the blog until after I wish you a very Happy Blessed Birthday! And many many more!!
