Borders done, quilting done, binding done, hanging sleeve done! I may call this one Ruffled Feathers since it's the first time I've ever free motion quilted feathers and they look a bit ruffled. Or a lot ruffled. :) But done is good and this one is destined to hang in my dining room. Perfect for that room I think!
Love it!
ReplyDeleteMarlene!! I'm back from vacation and have caught up on all your lovely posts since I was gone! Your handwork is so yummy! I just love the rooster quilt! Am I mistaken or is it you that loves primitive art/objects?? The bunny quilt is going to be precious and I'm loving the burp cloths. I have made one of those after seeing some at one of my grandchild's baby showers. They are so cute. have you seen the cloth covered diaper wipe boxes matched with a burp cloth? Very chic!! Check out quilt pictures on my blog. More are coming!

ReplyDeleteI don't have a chicken passion, but I just love this. Perfect colors and fabrics and your 'feathers' are just enough for this. I like the scrappy final border - balances the piece. Great Dining Room piece.Nicely done.

ReplyDeleteGreat rooster quilt! I like that it's just the silhouettes. I've always cringed when any kind of bird is around. I DON'T DO birds! However, there is something about roosters I enjoy, fake ones that is. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. I am a big fan of anything rooster/chicken! Ruffled Feathers is precious for this quilt. Very, very nice quilt!!!
