Bats In The Belfry

A quick and easy Halloween table runner/wall hanging.  I made this in a couple of hours yesterday - how great for a simple but cute gift!  No pattern really....I used a dinner plate to make the circle for the moon and found a bat outline online.  The background fabric is Moda but I forget the name - it's a night sky with stars and quarter moons.  Do you decorate for Halloween?

Cute cute cute! I'll have to see if I have anything in the stash that would make a good background. Love it! :)

As always, your projects are fun to see. No, I don't decorate for Halloween but closer to Thanksgiving I put out some fall-themed things. For some reason, as I get older I do less and less...just tired I guess! lol

Very nice. I like the bat.
I just decorate for fall in general. No witches or ghosts.

CUTE!! Nope, I don't decorate for halloween. My skimpy decorating is more toward 'fallish' and it isn't much.

Hey, halloween is my birthday and for the first time in many years I can sit downto a meal without running to the door a hundred times. I made paper mache jack-o-lanterns years ago with my kids and we lined them up outside every year. With little storage, we had to toss them when we moved. I have a ghost wind-sock but I am not too sure what my neighbors would think if I hang it out because I remember one neighbor cutting all the trailers off a weeping willow because they looked like a ghost. That little bat is darling and very clever.

Nary a Halloween decoration is at our house. I plain just don't like Halloween. Never have. Endured it for our two kids when they were growing up, and now I don't want a thing to do with it. Gosh, this year we're not even going to hand out beggar treats. I'm a real Scrooge, aren't I?
