Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

Spring Rains

It rained about 6" here this week.  I took these pictures with my cell phone through the windshield of my car.  It was one of those  moments where I just pulled over to the side of the road and sat looking at the incredible beauty created just for us to enjoy by a Father who loves us enough to do that.

I would certainly rather have your rain than our snow. Nothing growing here yet.

Those trees are just breathtaking. We are also getting spring rains in March, which is STRANGE for us, but wonderful. Everything is coming up, there are buds on the trees, and there is no turning back!

Such rich and brilliant colors. I love the purple in the first picture.

Yes, it is good to be grateful. We are blessed.

March still has a week to go if it is going to go out "like a lamb". We did get a half day taste of spring, well, some sun and gusty winds. Love those bloomin' trees.

We have had some wonderfully warm weather, and a bike ride last weekend, and several warm days the last few weeks. It's supposed to be a bit cooler this weekend, with some rain, but that's ok. Nothing I love more than sitting out on the front porch when it is raining. I love the smell of rain, and the beauty it creates. Thanks for sharing!

We're covered up in rain through the weekend ... but it's gentle, warm rain and it's taking down the pollen, which is a lovely thing! The little dogwood is darling -- aren't they beautiful trees? Have a great weekend! :)

I agree with Denise in that our rain is washing away some of the pollen. I swept my porch yesterday and a thick yellow layer of pollen was over everything! The two dogwoods in my front yard are in full bloom and it's beautiful. I'm glad you are home for a short while. When do you hit the road again?

Beautiful. A longer Spring is one of the things missing in Florida!
