Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

My Sister, The Beekeeper
Apparently bees "swarm" in the spring and have to be taken to a new home.
My grandpa kept bees and the honey was oh so good, As bees go, they are pretty calm while swarming but if your brother kicks the hive while you are passing ... look out!
Oh my! Not my cup of tea - scary!!! I have several friends though who are really into beekeeping. I see you published this through BlogPress - way to go!!!!
I've considered it because I'm fascinated rather than scared of bees. My grandfather was a beekeepeer and a good friend we go to church with keeps bees. He is very well known around here and does lots of educational programs at local schools. You don't see many women beekeepers. How long has she done this?? Jane
Wow! Your sister is a brave woman. But they say _ as long as you know how to handle them that all will be fine. I'm allergic to some bees but I love honey!

We once had a swarm in our tree. The buzzing was so loud we could hear it from pretty far away. It's all so amazing, isn't it?

My friend Tammy just had the same situation. http://www.flatcreekfarm.blogspot.com/
Love the suit! My hubby has done that before...moving the queen bee. I stayed really far back!~ ♥♥♥
Whoa! A very brave sister!
Hi Sweetie...
OMG you have one brave sister. I would be absolutely horrified. I do not like bees, and have horrible reactions to the stings.
Do you get wonderful honey out of the bargain, or does she at least?
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
oh, no! One could not pay me enough! I will leave that job to them!! thank you very much!! :)
