I found this great seasonal placemat:
And then I found in my stash that great fabric it's lying on. I cut a square, hemmed it, and stitched the placemat in the middle.
Isn't that just wonderful...$5 for the placemat and fabric from the stash and I have a great table topper!

Very cute! I also went into Bed, Bath and Beyond last week to get a shower curtain liner. I don't get there often and I forget how wonderful that store is. We spent lots. So between us, the store should stay afloat another year! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteI love that store too , easy to get carried away . I love your little table topper , you were clever to think of that .
ReplyDeleteMarlene, you SAVED money because that piece of fabric was just going to waste and now it's being USED! Very fun!
ReplyDeleteTerrific! :) Looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever..... It is beautiful
ReplyDeleteWow - great idea and you did a wonderful job! I love the pumpkins :*)
ReplyDeletesweet!
ReplyDeleteYou grabbed an opportunity and it turned out great.
ReplyDeleteWe should have gone to BB&B together! I have a 20-percent-off-everything coupon! The bargain on your table covering should just about cover the cost of the shower curtain. Yes?
ReplyDeleteMarlene, you always do something terrific with little or nothing. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteNO! I wanna know how much you spent. I need to feel justified that someone else is just as out of control in that place as I am.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I want new towels and accessories every time I go in the store.
ReplyDeleteThat is really impressive, I had heard of this before but never read up on it. I will have to go and see if there is anything I am interested in.
