Is it too ridiculous if you make your kitchen curtains
and your dish drainer mat and they are color coordinated? (the colors really do match, just not on blogger!)
I mean really, what's next...matching toaster cover? Oh...I might like that idea. :)

Hi, you have imsomnia? LOL I think I do, but I've been posting pics on my blog. We have a new great-grandson born in Fayetteville, AR. Adorable!
Well, I match stuff. And I like all the same colors in every room in my house. Earth colors, no pastels. I especially like medium sage green, very relaxing for me.
Happy New Year!
Mmm I guess you don't really know me...everything in my home, what I wear, even my blogs always match...what on earth does that say about me...I am color coordinated? lol
looks great by the way..I love the drain mat
I'm full of good intentions! I mean, in a house as small as ours how hard can it be to be colour co-ordinated? I too like earth colours and so that's what's in our living room. Every autumn shade of brown red green and everything in between. Carte blanche there to use whatever colour I fancy!
I think it's great! Things don't match at my house, but with pink wallpaper in the dining room and kitchen, it's kind of hard to do - especially when I hang my vintage potholders in the kitchen. Next I want to make a toaster and mixer cover with a piece of fabric that I found at a garage sale that is the same as the curtains that my Mom made in 1948. It is red, but I'm going to do it anyway (when I get around to it, that is).
I think the idea of a toaster cover is adorable!! Go for it!!
Well if it were my kitchen, I'd be making a cover the kitcheaid mixer.
Happy New Year!
Love the coordinated look. I color coordinate things in my kitchen. Been thinking of making a toaster cover!
Happy (coordinated) New Year, my friend.

I love matchy or coordinating! Very sweet fabric. Happy New Year, Marlene!
Oh yes, I can't wait to see what is next!!! Love them!
Uh oh.......I have a matching kitchen valance. And dish drainer mat. And a toaster cover. And a mixer cover (getting in trouble here). Ok. I'll admit to frige handle covers as well. One sister calls me co-ordinated. The other calls me anal. I must be the middle sister HAHAHA

ps...after sewing for other peoples' homes for years, I'm enjoying doing for mine :-)
I don't think it is ridiculous at all! I've never made a dish drainer mat before, but I have made kitchen curtains. When I got married one of my gifts was a toaster cover a church friend made for me. It was gold and green (colors of the 70s)It was a doll torso on top and her full skirt covered the toaster. I still have it somewhere.
