Thanks for todays smile , I know you were probably not smiling when you had to clean it up but I can't help but visualize that lettuce flying all over the place :-)
Good thing I read this after dinner, or I might have been worried. Funny thing is I was just telling the blacksmith tonight how much I love my salad spinner! By the way I beat you look green in garden green!
First I need to apologize for laughing so loudly. This is a wonderful discovery and will probably bring about extensive labeling of the product. DO NOT OPEN While OPERATING. I wish we had pictures!!!
UGH!!! Hey did you ever hear of spinning a LOT of lettuce in the washing machine?! Yep - a friend of mine would rinse a ton of lettuce (for a BIG crowd) - put it in a CLEAN pillowcase - and put it on the spin cycle! She said it worked like a charm! Now the problem is - what do you do if you have a front load washer? hmmmm Have a great day - keep on spinnin' Elaine
I take it you are writing from experience! What a mess!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have the exact lettuce spinner that you have pictured here. Thanks for the warning!
ReplyDeleteI think that's where the term "tossed salad" really comes from.

That's the funniest thing I've read today, Marlene. I can just imagine it!
ReplyDeleteI'll make a note of it! :))) We normally don't spin the salad so I haven't had that experience.
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny....where is the picture of you with lettuce in your hair??? That would be a video to send to the 'Americas Funniest Videos'...
ReplyDeleteMa is laughing so hard she is gasping with her smoker's cough.
ReplyDeleteHehehe. I'll remember NOT to do that.
