I've listed 16 or 17 UFOs on my sidebar that I want to complete this year. I'm slow but steady...this is the fourth to be finished. It was a panel that someone gave me or that I bought on sale, not sure which, but I thought it would make a great wall hanging for Independence Day. I did a free motion stipple on it - that's the only stitch so far that I feel comfortable with!
May be a panel, but just lovely - good for you in getting a UFO off that list, and perfect timing, too.
ReplyDeleteAll packed and ready to go and still checking things off your list. Good going!
ReplyDeleteMorning Marlene...could this be a very large block lol for the RWB hop.... I think the overall look is amazing and I am not even an American lol....
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous, and don't you just LOVE checking off that list one at a time??? Your free motion stippling is great...not everyone has an eye for that and yours really looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI clicked to em-biggen the picture, and I love how great your stippling looks....I'm just starting out on that, and I'm impressed! Love how this finished - will look wonderful on the wall in July!

ReplyDeleteShaking hands posted the first post. I tried to say.... I would love to try making that image into a pieced hanging. That would be a record setting UFO waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little hanging. Stipple may be your FMQ of choice but it is beautiful. I am still try to get beyond crosshatch.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely ... and you've got it finished just in time to display for Memorial Day! Very nice, Marlene! :)

A perfect summer quilt.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Perfect for the 4th, altho I would put it up before Flag Day and leave it up at least to the end of JUly. I has a nice summery feel to it as well as being patriotic. Great design and colors. You do a "mean" stipple, too. :-)
