Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

Skinny Dipping With My Sister

I'm not exactly the skinny dipping type.  Except when it's with my sister.  In her hot tub.  In the country.  Surrounded by woods.  In the dark.  Very dark.  Very, very dark.

When you skinny dip in a hot tub in the dark in the woods and you hear deer pawing the leaves looking for acorns you could possibly imagine it's Big Foot.  Except when you're with your sister you know it's okay because she will protect you.  Oh wait, she's the baby sister and I'm the big sister.  It's time to go in  now.  And lock the door.

I always feel sorry for women who don't have a sister, or if they do, don't get along with her....Obviously I don't need to feel sorry for you!

It would have to be VERY VERY dark for me to do that too!

Oh what fun! I have 3 sisters, and I guarantee that NONE of them would skinny dip, even in the very dark woods! Otherwise we have a lot of fun together.

Marlene....you can get me to whoopin' laughter! My sister would go with me but it would have to be very dark! We do have a lot of fun though.

We used to live in the middle of a woods, and I'd go out after the kids were in bed and sit on the deck. Until I heard the deer (I tell myself it was the deer) walking around and it spooked me and I'd always go right back into the house. Of course I was alone...I didn't have a sister or anyone else to protect me! LOL
