Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

Weekend Stitching

Next week one of my daughters is going to have a knee replacement surgery.  Yuck.  I tell her she got my Dad's knees from the gene pool - not his best feature.  Surgery itself isn't so bad, but the rehab after...not so much fun.  So this weekend I made her this little pillow to focus on when she's bending that new knee, and bending that new knee, and bending that new knee.....

Doesn't that make you smile?  It might not stop the pain but a smile never hurts!

How adorable that expression always makes me smile. Surgery is never fun but with her big girl pants pillow she will do great. Blessings to her and good luck with the physio.

You're such an encouraging mama! It's a giggle-worthy sentiment that I hope your daughter never tires of reading, because it sounds like she won't be permitting to tire of attempting to bend her new knee!
