Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

I Need A Pattern

I know, I know, I have a million and twenty patterns. But I NEED this one, and I can't find it. Have you ever seen the movie Sarah, Plain and Tall on Hallmark? Love that movie. Anyway, she wears an apron in that movie that I want. I crave it. I covet it. I want it. Anybody seen that pattern or know where I can find it? I can't even find a picture of it! But it's a full apron and it doesn't seem to tie - it has armholes and I don't know how it comes together in the back.

I've seen the movie but it was so long ago that I can't remember her apron. Could it be that it crosses over at the back rather than ties??
Hugs,
Joy :o)

saw the movie, remember her wearing an apron but I don't remember how it was made. Do you remember what era the movie takes place in? I can't seem to remember, maybe if you remember the era you can do a search on apron patterns -- 1890 or whatever?

Have you tried Clotilde.com? They have an apron pattern that sounds similar. I made one for my DIL because she hates the ones that wrap around the neck. These are more like sleeveless shirts.

Gosh I thought google you culd find everything!
I have a couple of old apron patterns I will look at when I get home.
Glad you made it okay.
OH and I got a gift from the gun show yesterday. Camo ripstop pants. They are light weight, something I can wear when I mow grass and won't catch poison ivy etc.
Today we are going to some Chicken place that was featured on Diner, Drive in and dives.
Keep warm, it's -1 in JEf city, 20 here.

I just read another blog that I follow and she has a picture of a bunch of apron patterns. Maybe one of them fits the bill.

I vaguely remember a loose apron, looking very comfy, and covering a lot. I DID enjoy that movie -- gentle, soft, realistic, and no car explosions! LOL

When you find it and make it, please show us and remind us of Sara, Plain and Tall.

I'm reading that book with a couple of groups in Bethany's class. Love it. But that's the closest I can come.

You might be able to come up with a clip on YouTube that you could post so people can see it.

There is one seam in center of the back. I made my last one as a gift for a friend. The "back" covers the shouler blades. I made mine from a flour sack apron that a friend gave me. Had to make my pattern. I think this is simular to Sarah's
