Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

Fall is in the Air!

It was 59F when I got up today...I opened windows and just breathed the cool air. We had planned a camping trip to Estes Park, Colorado but that whole area is flooded and we have, naturally, cancelled. We are praying for all those affected!

I finished this little squirrel last week. I think he's as ready for fall as me. :)

Enjoy those cool mornings - so invigorating! We arrived in Estes Park on Aug 12 and were to stay until Sept 16. On Thursday, we evacuated with many others. It was not fun. And we were one of the extremely lucky ones. So many people have lost so much - lives, possessions, and peace of mind. So many are stranded and Estes has nothing to offer right now in the way of help. We pray for all of those affected on the Front Range - I'm afraid this is far from over - the rains keep coming. I think I am finally settling down - we are now in Steamboat Springs, CO. Just settled into a rental condo for a few days.

Hi Marlene, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment about the apothecary cabinet I missed out on at the auction. I'm kicking myself.

Love the squirrel! My boss just started a hobby business with a squirrel logo, so we have squirrels on the mind lately. Love Fall!
