Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

His Eye Is On The Sparrow

Recently Jenny of Elefantz posted a free pattern that I just fell in love with.  And since she is really into recycling I stitched mine on an antique linen napkin which has a few teensy, tiny holes that are almost invisible.  I think they have just worn out from use or perhaps too much bleach.  Anyway, I love the way it turned out.

I added a little ruffle and I think it really sets off the sparrow.

I have no idea what I want to do with this piece but for now it's hanging on my stove and reminds me every day of His love.

Such sweet details - and so fast to stitch!

It's most lovely Marlene, and what a loving reminder that we are important to our Father in Heaven.

I love it! It's so cute. What a great reminder of the truth of God's Word - He cares for the tiny, little sparrow and He cares for me. And you, dear friend.

I printed off that pattern too. One day.
I like what you made with it and it will be a nice reminder each time you step into the kitchen of God's love for you/us.

I downloaded that one too. You really have done it nicely. I must print it out and do it. The sparrow is so creatively put together combined with the stitchery.
