This Is Not Snow and Is It Christmas yet?

We got two inches of sleet this week. Sleet. I'm so grateful it wasn't freezing rain and our electricity didn't go off! I'm sewing up a storm...love being stuck in the house!

It's been snowing here, which is so unusual, and I love being inside sewing, too. Pretty flowers with snow on them!

Eeww we got that, too! This is my 4th day stuck in the house. Today we're supposed to have 4 hrs. above freezing but will re-freeze again tonight.

It is very cold here but no snow. It is nice to be stuck at home as long as you are warm.

That`s a lot of sleet. We are 13 to 19 at night. Our water is frozen every morning, thaws by 11. Hopefully we will warm to high thirties.

That's exactly what's laying on the ground here too....and boy is it ever slick. Highways are now clear, but the dirt roads are still icy. Stay warm !
