Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

A New Tradition

My grandchildren asked for S'Mores for Thanksgiving. Not turkey. Not dressing. Not sweet potatoes. And, of course, if grandchildren ask....grandmothers provide. It was lots of fun and just may have become a new tradition for our family!

That's the Grandma rule:

What I want
When I want it
How I want it
As much as I want

We love grandmas! And s'mores. I would love that tradition! :-)

What a fun idea! S'Mores are good anytime!

S'Mores are great, but that would have to be in addition to the turkey and dressing, and pecan and pumpkin pie :)

We roasted marshmallows with two of our grandchildren over the fire pit a couple of weeks ago.
It is fun. Love to have a fire when its chilly out.

I think fire pits are becoming very popular. We had the family here and the day before Thanksgiving in the afternoon we were roasting marshmallows and then my sister wrote and said out in Maryland where she lives they had gotten a firepit and did marshmallows with the grandchildren Thanksgiving evening.

I love new traditions! Do you love living on a lake? That is our dream. Right now we have 6 acres and a pond!
