Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures.

Prayer Request

My daughter is having back surgery on Wednesday morning. Three years ago they put in titanium rods and screws for a broken place. I know place is not a good explanation but part of her spine was broken and I don't know the correct term. :) Anyway, the break has healed but the metal pieces have caused her a lot of pain ever since they put them in and they have to come out. She has been on major pain meds for three years now and uses a cane to walk. She's had to use a wheelchair this last year if she had to go any distance or stand any length of time. As you can well imagine we are praying for her surgery to go well, her recovery to be complete and her pain to be gone. If you would join me in this prayer I would be so grateful.

As I am praying for my daughter who is hospitalized again with pancreas problems, I will pray for your daughter and her back surgery. I would appreciate if you would pray for my daughter too.

Us mothers always worry, even if the kids are grown and on their own, don't we. You take care of yourself too.

Hugs and prayers,
marge

I will be praying for your daughter. Our son fractured his vetebrae and they put the rods in him as well. They removed them 6 months later (after the back was healed) to avoid the limited movement and pain that can be associated with the rods. He is doing well now - 10 years later. I hope this takes care of the pain that your daughter is experiencing.

My mom had 3 back surgeries (no real surprise after carrying and delivery 11 children)... so I know how back pain can affect your life.

I'd be happy to join you in prayer for your daughter!

PS - Thanks for the email. I've been SO busy since the wedding trying to get caught up on other things and starting my Christmas shopping. I usually try to have it done by Thanksgiving. I think everyone's busy at this time of year!

My hubby just got his second steroid epidural for his back yesterday. They are trying that before they do surgery. I pray he doesn't have to. I am praying for your daughter. I will be thinking of you all.

My heart sinks when I hear of one who is suffering with back issues. I had duel disc fusion in my neck after an on the job injury. It affects every area of ones life. I will hold your girl up in prayer for continual healing.
